American Fork, UT (April 25, 2019) – A terrible accident took place on Wednesday, April 25th at about 5:00 in the evening.

The American Fork Police Department and other emergency responders reported to the scene of an accident that involved a ten-year-old girl colliding with a passenger vehicle at the intersection of 560 W. 1120 North.

The girl was transported to a local hospital and from there she received an airlift from a medical helicopter to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Her condition is currently listed as critical.

As of yet, the American Fork police have no idea why the girl rode her bike into the intersection, but have stated that neither speed nor any physical impairment on the part of the driver is suspected.
