Motorcycle Accidents in Centerville
The Utah Department of Transportation reported that in 2016, roughly 1,168 motorcycle accidents took place throughout our state, resulting in about 1,014 people being injured and 41 fatalities. Despite the fact that motorcyclists make up just 1% of total registered vehicles on America’s roadways, they account for almost 15% of all traffic accident-related deaths. Sadly, this death toll has risen continuously every single year since then here in Utah.
Unfortunately, the victims who endure motorcycle collisions normally suffer severe injuries because of the fact that they are so much more vulnerable to the force of the impact caused by other vehicles than your average passenger car or SUV on the roadway. People who are wounded in motorcycle accidents do have the right to file personal injury claims against careless drivers in an effort to collect financial compensation for their injuries and other losses.
We know that no amount of money, however grand, will alleviate the anguish an accident victim must endure as a result of their injuries, but it can help to alleviate some of the financial hardships they will be expected to handle on their own.
