Cisco, UT – Woman Killed in Fatal Crash on I-70 Near Utah-Colorado Border

Cisco, UT (May 22, 2019) – On Tuesday on Interstate 70, a Maryland woman was killed in a fatal crash that took place near the border of Utah and Colorado around 2:56 p.m.

The 33-year-old woman was driving east in an SUV at the time when she approached a semi-trailer traveling at slow speeds. The semi-trailer moved over to the left lane because another trailer was parked on the right shoulder. The woman attempted to move around it and lost control while doing so.

Her vehicle went onto the left shoulder and struck a field fence, went airborne, and flipped over. Police say that she died at the scene of the accident.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.

We would like to take this time to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the woman who lost her life in this accident.
