Enoch, UT – Many Critically Injured After 2 Vehicle Crash At E Midvalley Rd & US-130Utah Legal News
Enoch, UT (July 31, 2019) – Many people were reported to have been critically injured in a two-vehicle collision in Iron County. The crash happened at around 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30th, at the intersection of E. Midvalley Rd. and US-130, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
The two vehicles involved were a Toyota Prius and a tow truck. Reports indicate that the Toyota was traveling east on E. Midvalley Rd. while the tow truck was traveling south on US-130.
The Prius initially stopped at the intersection, according to reports, but continued going, resulting in the tow truck t-boning the vehicle. It is believed they did not see the oncoming vehicle.
The occupants of the Toyota were severely injured and taken to Cedar City Hospital for immediate treatment. From there, the driver was flown to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
All occupants were restrained and the airbags deployed on impact, preventing further injury.
The driver of the two truck was not injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
