Erda, UT—Injuries in Semi-Truck Train Collision on North Droubay RdUtah Legal News
Erda, UT (April 20, 2019) Slightly before 11:30 this morning, a Union Pacific Train and a semi-truck collided in Erda, Utah at 6000 North Droubay Road.
According to authorities, the semi-truck driver claimed that he did not see the train coming. This led to the train impacting between the semi’s cab and trailer. The semi was then pulled over three hundred yards.
Two engineers were the only individuals onboard the train at the time of the collision. The driver of the semi-truck endured injuries and received a citation.
