Fruitland, UT (February 13, 2019) – Shortly after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident near mile Marker 66 along US-40.

The driver of the vehicle was driving too fast for snow conditions. As a result, the driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a guardrail. Utah Highway Patrol confirmed two people involved in the accident were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time, but we wish both victims receive a full and quick recovery. Our thoughts and sympathies are with them at this time.
