Grand County, UT (June 1, 2019) – Utah Highway Patrol has reported that a Maryland woman has died in the result of a tragic car crash that took place in Interstate 70 near the border of Utah and Colorado. The crash took place on Tuesday, May 21st. The event happened in the afternoon at 2:56 p.m.

Highway Patrol claims that the driver was attempting to maneuver around a stalled 18-wheeler. The driver lost control of her vehicle in the process. The driver was safely secured and the airbags deployed normally in the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
