Helper, UT (April 2, 2019) – The Utah Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on State Route 6 in Carbon County.
According to UHP, a male was reportedly walking in the roadway on March 13 around 7 p.m. when he stepped into oncoming traffic. A semi-truck, which was traveling along the roadway, struck the man.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
