Herriman, UT – Teen in Critical Condition After Striking Semi at UT-85 and W 12600 SUtah Legal News
Herriman, UT (June 21, 2019) – Reports indicate that a man has been taken into custody in connection to a deadly boating accident that happened on Lake Powell. The accident took place on Friday, June 14th. The crash took place at the intersection of UT-85 and W. 12600 South at around 7:20 a.m.
The 17-year-old operating a black motorcycle was seen weaving in and out of traffic before he collided with a truck carrying a load on UT-85.
The motorcyclist was in critical condition after the crash. He was taken by helicopter to a local hospital for immediate medical attention.
Officials are looking for more information regarding the dump truck involved, as it is believed the driver did not feel the crash and continued on after the collision. The crash is currently under investigation.
