Hobble Creek Canyon, UT – Three Injured in Rollover Accident In Hobble Creek Canyon Near SpringvilleUtah Legal News
Hobble Creek Canyon, UT (March 7, 2019) – On Wednesday, around 11:20 a.m., Utah County Sheriff’s Office reported to a call for assistance.
A call came in from a female who stated that she was involved in an accident, but was unsure of her current location. A deputy from the sheriff’s office located the vehicle a short distance into Hobble Creek Canyon, near Springville.
The vehicle contained three teenage girls who left a local high school on their lunch break. The rainy conditions caused the Chevy Trailblazer to go off the road and roll. Two individuals were found outside of the vehicle. One was ejected and the second may have been, but was unable to remember how she got outside of the vehicle. The girl who was confirmed ejected sustained a broken leg in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle was the only one wearing a seatbelt. All three girls were taken to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo for treatment of their injuries. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the girls injured in this accident, and we hope they are able to recover as quickly as possible.
