Kaysville, NM (May 01, 2019) – A terrible accident took place on Wednesday, May 1st that affected the southbound travel lanes of Highway 89. The accident occurred sometime late in the afternoon.
Officers from the Utah Highway Patrol, the Kaysville Fire Department, and officers from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene of an accident that involved two passenger vehicles colliding on Highway 89 in the Fruit Heights area near 400 North.
The cause of the accident is still under heavy investigation and no reports on exactly what happened have been issued at this time.
One of the drivers had to be extricated from their vehicle and received emergency transport to a nearby medical facility where they received treatment for their injuries and their identity has not yet been made public.
The name and condition of the other driver involved in the collision have also not yet been released.
