Layton, UT – 1 Dead and 2 Injured in Car Crash At 1300 N and Main StUtah Legal News
Layton, UT (June 2, 2019) – Sources report that one woman has died and two other individuals have been injured in the aftermath of a tragic vehicle accident. The crash took place at the intersection of 1300 North and Main St. Officials were notified of the scene at around 9 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, June 1st.
Traveling southbound on 1300 North, the woman was speeding down the roadway when she collided with the rear of a Chevrolet truck. This crash caused the woman’s car to veer into the northbound lanes where she was struck by another vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been revealed by authorities.
The passenger and driver of the northbound vehicle were hospitalized for their injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
It is not known if intoxication played a role in the crash. The case is still under investigation.
