Richmond, UT (February 11, 2019) – Logan woman killed in a car accident along U.S. Highway 91 has been identified as 70-year-old Phyllis Belles.
The accident took place along U.S. 91 at the intersection near North Cache Middle School shortly after 12:30 p.m. A 21-year-old female was driving a Subaru Forester when she lost control of her vehicle and ended up wedged under the back of a semi-trailer.
Belles, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, was ejected from the vehicle. The 21-year-old driver, who was only identified as Belle’s granddaughter, was not wearing a seatbelt either at the time of the accident and was transported to Logan Regional Hospital for treatment of her injuries
