Millcreek, UT (July 7, 2019) – A motorcyclist was transported to a local medical facility in critical condition after being involved in a collision with an SUV on Saturday, July 6th. The crash happened at 3980 South Highland Dr. 

The victim was a 53-year-old man, and it was reported that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. 

Both the injured party and the SUV were traveling southbound on the roadway. Local police reports indicate that the SUV did not see the motorcyclist and struck him when changing lanes. 

The accident resulted in the closure of the area of Highland Dr. south between 3900 South and 4000 South.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
