Pedestrian Fatalities in Moab
Over the past seven years, pedestrian fatalities have steadily been on the rise in the state of Utah. In addition to the tragic and sudden loss of a loved one, there are other consequences to a pedestrian accident that seem overwhelming to surviving family members, especially during a time of such emotional fragility. Surviving family members are usually left holding the bag when it comes to finding the financial resources necessary to pay for outstanding medical expenses, and funeral and burial costs for the victim as well. In some of these instances, families have lost their primary breadwinner and end up fighting to even keep their heads above the water where financial obligations are concerned.
In Utah, surviving family members are able to file wrongful death claims against negligent parties in order to receive financial compensation that will help mitigate some of the financial burdens they are now facing due to the untimely death of a family member. For more than three decades, attorneys at Siegfried & Jensen have guided families throughout Utah through the process of obtaining the maximum amount of compensation for their losses caused by a careless or reckless driver.
