Ogden, UT – 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Crash Near 1200 N Washington Blvd

Ogden, UT (July 14, 2019) – A man has been confirmed dead and a woman critically injured in the aftermath of a car crash in Ogden on Wednesday, July 10th. The incident took place past 11:00 a.m. near 1200 N. Washington Blvd, according to reports from Ogden police. 

The crash involved two vehicles, a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck and a Mazda 626. 

The Chevy was reportedly traveling south on Washington Blvd when the vehicle drifted into the lane of oncoming traffic, striking the Mazda which was traveling north on the roadway. 

The 47-year-old driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. He later was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

The 18-year-old driver also sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital. 

A 10-year-old passenger in the pickup was also injured and hospitalized. 

The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. 

An investigation into the collision is underway.
