Murray, UT- Pedestrian Injured By Semi-Truck on I-15 Near 6000 SouthUtah Legal News
Murray, UT ( February 11, 2019) – A man is left critically injured after being struck by a semi-truck along Interstate 15 in Murray on the morning of February 9th.
At around 11:07 a.m. police responded to a call about a pedestrian in the road on Interstate 15 near 6000 South in Murray. Shortly after the police arrived, the man walked into traffic and was struck by a semi-truck. The semi-truck was only traveling at a speed of approximately 20 MPH when the crash occurred, but the sheer size and weight of the truck caused major trauma to the man.
The 68-year-old male pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. His identity has not been made public at this time. The incident is still under investigation.
