Provo, UT (March 6, 2019)- On Wednesday afternoon, Utah Highway Patrol reported to an accident on southbound I-15. The accident happened near the Center Street exit just after 5:30 p.m. This was the second of two major collisions on the interstate today, the first having occurred at 9:30 a.m.
The crash occurred in the left side lanes on I-15, resulting in the closure of the two lanes and causing major traffic delays. Utah Highway Patrol worked diligently to clear the scene of the accident as first responders provided medical care to those injured in the accident.
There has been no information released on the number of parties involved, nor the extent of any injuries sustained.
