Salina, UT (March 18, 2019) – On Saturday, just after 5:00 p.m., a Buick Rendezvous sedan carrying five people was traveling westbound along I-70. According to Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Chris Bishop, the driver of the Buick fell asleep behind the wheel, causing the cart to drift over to the left side of the road.

The vehicle began to role, causing a male juvenile to be ejected from the car. The male sustained fatal injuries. Another individual in the vehicle was critically injured and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital. Two other occupants, including the driver, sustained minor injuries.
