Pedestrian Accidents In Utah
Car accidents involving pedestrians are often catastrophic. Individuals are unable to protect themselves adequately against the impact of an automobile. Travelers on foot are far disadvantaged against the steel frames on cars and trucks.
For this reason, pedestrian victims often sustain very serious injuries when they are struck by automobiles. Even slow-speed drivers can cause serious injuries to pedestrians. Those who are injured in pedestrian accidents are often able to file personal injury lawsuits against at-fault drivers to obtain compensation for their injuries and damages.
It is important to recognize that being struck by a vehicle makes you a victim. You should not be forced to suffer lost wages and pay thousands of dollars in medical expenses for injuries you sustained at no fault of your own.
