Salt Lake City, UT (June 1, 2019) – Sources have confirmed that the driver of a commercial truck died in the result of a fiery accident. The event took place on Interstate 15 at 400 South. The event transpired at around 2 a.m. in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 1st.

Authorities report that the driver left the roadway, striking a utility pole. It was noted that the vehicle also went through a construction zone, finally colliding with a parked semi-trailer.

Paramedics and officials at the scene attempted to render aid to the victim but were unable to due to the severity of the crash itself.

The crash is under investigation, and officials are attempting to decipher why the vehicle went off the roadway.
