Motorcycle Accidents in Salt Lake City
The Utah Department of Transportation reported that, in 2016, there were 1,168 motorcycle accidents throughout the state, ending in roughly 1,014 injuries and 41 deaths. Despite the fact that motorcycle riders comprised just 1% of all vehicles on the road, they accounted for almost 15% of all traffic-related fatalities. Sadly, this count has, without fail, increased every year here in the state of Utah.
Unfortunately, the victims who survive these motorcycle accidents customarily suffer severe injuries because of the fact that they are a lot more vulnerable to impact force that is caused by being in a collision than any other vehicle driver on the road. Victims who have been injured in motorcycle accidents are eligible to file personal injury claims against reckless drivers in order to get financial reimbursement for their injuries and/or other damages.
