Salt Lake City, UT (March 4, 2019) – Early Monday, Unified Police Officers reported to the scene of a pedestrian accident on 5400 South at 3860 West.
According to Unified Police, a 56-year-old man was crossing 5400 South when he was struck by an eastbound car.
The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time of the incident. The vehicle was traveling in the outside lane around 30 miles per hour at the time of impact.
The injured male was transported to a nearby hospital and is said to be in serious condition. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the man injured in this accident, and we wish for his speedy recovery.
