Salt Lake County, UT (March 9, 2019) – Police reported that a man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after he was involved in an accident on 3300 South on Friday morning, March 8th. According to police, the man was involved in an accident and crashed into a power pole.
The accident happened around 5:20 a.m. Police say that the driver crashed when he suffered some type of mental distress. A live power line came down following the accident. The driver was located nearby at the time of the crash.
The man has since been taken to the hospital for help and, thankfully, nobody else was injured in the crash.
Police said that the power to the line that fell was turned off so that nobody could be injured or killed. They have been making repairs on the line and the car was towed from the scene.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
