Salt Lake County, UT (March 24, 2019) – An accident occurred in Salt Lake City in which local authorities responded to reports of an accident with injuries in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 24.

Shortly after 5:00 this morning police began receiving calls concerning an accident that had taken place on southbound Bangerter Highway in the right-hand lanes near the exit for 3900 South. Police and emergency responders arrived promptly on the scene to assist the injured and transport them to a local area hospital.  

No information has been released pertaining to the names or current conditions of those involved in the pre-dawn collision because the local authorities say the incident is still under police investigation.
