Sandy, UT (March 2, 2019) – On February 26 of this past week, a serious car accident took place that led to injuries and closed road lanes.

The traffic incident closed down lanes on multiple roads after an accident at 8600 South and 1300 East. Police claimed that, as a result of the accident, traffic was “severely impacted” and not moving at one point.

The accident involved at least two vehicles and emergency responders were called to the scene to help those who received injuries.

Police also said that power lines were damaged due to the accident. Though the official details into the accident have not been released at this time, police continue their investigation into the accident.
