On March 17, a 10-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a truck at the intersection of 11400 South 1000 East in Sandy. As a result of the incident, the young boy was hospitalized at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he remains.
Peter Anderson, the father of 10-year-old Breck Anderson, states that Breck wearing a helmet at the time of the collision is ultimately what saved his life. Breck sustained a serious brain injury in the incident and continues to receive medical treatment as he remains hospitalized.
