Sardine Canyon, UT – Head-On Collision On US-91 Near Dry Lake Leaves One Extremely CriticalUtah Legal News
Sardine Canyon, UT (March 19, 2019) – Utah Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a collision on US-91 in Sardine Canyon.
The accident occurred along the southbound side of US-91 involving multiple vehicles. The most severe injuries occurred when a silver pickup truck and a black passenger vehicle collided head-on, pushing the black vehicle over the center barrier.
Medical crews worked diligently to provide treatment to those injured. Emergency vehicles showed up at the scene of the crash to transport at least one injured victim to the hospital for treatment. The victim was resuscitated at the scene and transported in extremely critical condition.
At this time, we are unsure of the exact number of vehicles that were involved in this accident, but it appears that at least five vehicles were involved. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. However, it is believed to be caused by a driver traveling the wrong way down the highway.
