SLC, UT – Suspect Arrested For Hit And Run On 100 South Main Street

Salt Lake City, UT (April 5, 2019) – On April 2, Salt Lake City Police department responded to the scene of a hit and run accident just after 3:45 p.m.

The incident occurred near 100 South Main Street. According to police, a male in his 40s was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured pedestrian.

Police later announced that 49-year-old Todd Smith was arrested in connection to the hit and run incident and he has been charged with driving under the influence.
