South Salt Lake, UT (March 11, 2019) – Late Saturday, South Salt Lake Police reported to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at 3300 South Main Street.
According to police, two individuals were attempting to cross the road in a crosswalk at 11:51 p.m. when a dark-colored Chevy Trailblazer proceeded through the intersection and struck them. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital. One pedestrian was killed in the incident, while the other remains in critical position.
The names of the victims have not been released.
