South Salt Lake, UT – Man Pinned Under Car In Fatal Accident At Pick-N-PullUtah Legal News
South Salt Lake, UT (July 31, 2019) – A man was killed after sustaining deadly injuries in an accident that has been deemed an “industrial accident” by local police officials. The accident took place on Monday afternoon at the Pick-n-Pull located at 585 West 3300 South.
The victim was identified as a 50-year-old man. Reports from an officer of the South Salt Lake Police Department state that the man was under a vehicle that was on a lift removing a transmission when a slip resulted in the vehicle falling on top of him, pinning him underneath.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m., and the victim was transported to a local medical facility in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries. The man has not been identified at this time.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
