South Salt Lake, UT – Victim Of Hit-And-Run On 3300 South And Main Street Identified As Michael Corby WestoverUtah Legal News
South Salt Lake, UT (March 13, 2019) – On Saturday, Salt Lake City police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 3300 South and Main Street.
Just after 11:15 p.m., two men were crossing Main Street when they were struck in the crosswalk by a Chevy TrailBlazer which subsequently fled from the scene. Both victims were rushed to the hospital. One victim, 42-year-old Michael Corby Westover, died from his injuries. The second individual, a 33-year-old man from Salt Lake City, remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Police are still trying to locate the driver of the TrailBlazer, but believe the vehicle sustained heavy front end damage in the crash.
