South Salt Lake, Utah – Man Injured after Being Struck by Vehicle near 3055 S. State Street

South Salt Lake, Utah (February 10, 2019) – Local news sources reported that a man sustained injuries after a vehicle struck him at the Exotic Kitty Gentleman’s Club near 3055 S. State Street. The accident took place at some time before 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

One South Salt Lake police sergeant confirmed this part of the road does not have proper lighting, and the pedestrian had not been walking along a crosswalk.

Afterward, paramedics took the unidentified man to the Intermountain Medical Center, and police have confirmed his condition his stable. No details regarding his injuries have been disclosed.

Ultimately, officers confirmed the driver involved in the crash had not appeared to be impaired, and no parties appear to plan filing charges.

Following the crash, the Valleywide Car Accident Reconstruction Team was dispatched to the scene, and officers confirmed the roadway would be reopened after midnight today, February 10, 2019.
