Spanish Fork Canyon, UT (February 15, 2019) – Utah Highway Patrol reported to an accident today at Mile Marker 193 in Spanish Fork Canyon.
The incident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday involving two semi-trucks colliding. The slick road conditions caused one of the semi-truck drivers to lose control of his rig. As a result, he crashed his semi into another tractor-trailer who traveling along the roadway in the westbound direction. Both semi-trucks went off the road, causing one to jackknife.
Injuries were reported as a result of this accident. Crews spent several hours clearing out the scene of the incident.
