St. George, UT – Rollover Accident on Interstate 15 Leads to DUI Arrest

St. George, UT (March 3, 2019) – A rollover accident took place on Interstate 15 that led to an arrest for DUI. Police were called to the accident around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The accident took place in the northbound lane of the highway near Exit 4 when a woman who was driving a Ford SUV began drifting onto the shoulder. She over-corrected, which caused her to enter into three travel lanes and onto another shoulder.

After the vehicle crossed over the shoulder, the SUV started to roll before it came to a stop by the top of the exit ramp.

The driver of the SUV had not been wearing a seat belt at the time. Luckily, she is expected to recover from her injuries. She was hospitalized following the accident.
