St. George, UT (March 21, 2019) – Just before 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident at West Sunset Boulevard and North Dixie Drive.

According to St. George Police Officer Dave McDaniel, a silver Nissan Sentra was traveling south on Dixie Drive and entered the turn lane to go left onto Sunset Boulevard. A gray Toyota Camry was traveling north on the inside lane of Dixie Drive when the Nissan passed through the intersection. The Toyota struck the Nissan, causing both vehicles to spin around.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were provided medical treatment at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Nissan was cited for failure to yield on a left turn. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those injured in this accident.
