St George, UT – Injuries After Jeep Runs Red Light On UT-34 At N 200 EUtah Legal News
St George, UT (August 7, 2019) – Police reports show that a woman driving a black Jeep Patriot admitted to running a red light on UT-34, also known as St. George Blvd, which resulted in injuries. The accident happened at the intersection of UT-34 and North 200 East on Monday evening. After she drove through the red light, the Jeep was hit by a silver Lexus RX 350 that was traveling south on N. 200 E.
The driver of the Lexus sustained injuries to his legs in the collision. Emergency responders from both the St. George Police Department and St. George Fire Department were on-site to provide aid to the injured party and evaluate their condition. Both involved parties were adults and were properly restrained at the time of the crash. The airbags in the Jeep were deployed on impact.
