St. George, UT – Jaws of Life Needed After Car Crash on Riverside DrUtah Legal News
St. George, UT (May 13, 2019) – An accident took place on Friday, May 10th that affected traffic headed southbound on Riverside Drive. The accident is reported to have occurred at about 1:50 in the afternoon.
Officers from the St. George Police Department and other emergency responders arrived at the scene of an accident that involved a black Chevrolet crashing into a white Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Mall Drive.
According to initial reports, the Chevrolet was headed east on Riverside Drive when the driver blew through a red light and crashed into the Jeep which was traveling southbound on Mall Drive. The impact was isolated to the driver’s side door of the Chevrolet and the driver had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life.
Two people who were involved in the accident received emergency medical transport to Dixie Regional Medical Center for necessary medical treatment. No further information was immediately available.
