St. George, UT – Mall Drive and Riverside Drive Accident Sends One To Hospital

According to police, the driver of a blue Chevrolet sedan was heading east on Riverside Drive when the driver pulled into the middle lane to make a left turn.  The red passenger vehicle was heading west along Riverside Drive. As the light turned yellow, the Chevrolet turned across the intersection where it was struck by the red vehicle.

The impact of the collision forced both vehicles to spin around before the Chevrolet came to rest near the curb on the westbound side of Riverside Drive.  The driver of the red passenger car was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the blue Chevrolet was later cited for failure to yield. We hope the injured driver gets the treatment necessary for a full recovery.
