Motorcycle Accidents in St. George

Accidents involving motorcycles frequently lead to serious injuries for the rider. Motorcycles make up roughly 15% of our nation’s accident fatalities every single year and yet they only account for 1% of the total driving population of the United States.

Motorcycle accidents can happen for any number of reasons. The most common reason for these collisions, however, is distracted driving. People are simply not giving the road their full attention, instead choosing to engage in other activities while they are behind the wheel of a car. These distracting activities range from texting and driving to eating and driving. In either case, the driver’s eyes are not on the road or the drivers around him.

Motorcycle riders are also particularly vulnerable during an accident because there is nothing protecting them from the road. This can result in the rider’s injuries being far more serious than any injury to the other driver will be.

The state of Utah has established certain rules that make it possible for your motorcycle accident attorney to help you claim any financial recompense in the event that you are ever injured in an accident due to the negligence of another driver.
