St. George, UT (April 5, 2019) – Around 3:30 p.m. on April 4, emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of a rollover collision along the southbound side of Interstate 15 near Exit 8.
According to police, a red Buick SUV and a semi-truck collided along the interstate. The force of the collision caused the Buick to rollover onto its side. Two occupants were able to get out of the vehicle and wait for first responders.
Both occupants sustained injuries in the collision but were treated on the scene by medical personnel. Emergency crews returned to the scene of the collision a half hour later after the 83-year-old driver of the vehicle collapsed on the side of the road. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the collision.
