St. George, UT (February 12, 2019) – Just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Police and emergency personnel were discharged to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bluff Street and Main Street.
St. George Police Sgt. Tyrell Bangerter stated the accident involved a Red Nissan SUV, a Tan GMC, and a dark gray Dodge pickup truck. According to Bangerter, the Dodge pickup truck was traveling south along Bluff Street when it ran a red light at the intersection of Bluff and Main. The Dodge was struck by the Nissan, which was heading east onto Main Street from Blackridge Drive. The impact of the collision forced the Dodge to spin around in front of the GMC that was stopped in the northbound lane of Bluff Street.
The Dodge pickup and the Nissan SUV sustained extensive damage, while the GMC sustained minor front end damage. The front-seat passenger of the Nissan sustained injuries and was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
