St. George, UT – T-Bone Crash At The Intersection Of Blackridge Drive And South 250 West Sends Two To Hospital

St. George, UT (February 15, 2019) – Just before 9 a.m. Friday, St. George police and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of South 250 West and Blackridge Drive. The accident involved a black Ford F-150 pickup truck and a gray Ford Ranger.

According to St. George Police Sgt. Tyrell Bangerter, the F-150 was traveling east along Blackridge Drive while the Ford Ranger was traveling on the same road heading west.  When the light changed to green at the intersection, the Ford Ranger attempted to make a left turn onto Hilton Drive when it struck the F-150 almost head-on.

The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to spin around. The F-150 came to rest with both passenger-side wheels on the sidewalk facing west while the Ranger stopped blocking the inside westbound lane of Blackridge Drive.

The driver of the Ford Ranger will be cited for failing to yield on a left turn. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed away from the scene. Both drivers were injured in the accident and transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the F-150 was transported code 3 with lights and sirens activated.

We hope both drivers make a full and fast recovery from their injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both.
