St. George, UT – Teen Hospitalized After Rollover AccidentUtah Legal News
St. George, UT (May 13, 2019) – A terrible accident took place on Saturday, May 11th near Copper Cliffs Drive. The accident reportedly occurred at about 7:00 in the evening.
Officers from the St. George Police department, the St. George Fire Department, and at least three ambulances arrived at the scene of an accident that involved a blue Subaru hatchback that had rolled over on Airport Road, near St. George Regional Airport.
According to preliminary reports, the vehicle, occupied by four teenagers, was traveling west on an unpaved section of Airport Road at approximately 40 miles per hour. The driver came upon a very sharp curve in the road and failed to slow down enough to safely navigate his way through. The excessive speed caused the vehicle to lean to the left and then eventually roll over entirely.
The damage to the Subaru was confined to the driver’s side and fortunately, all occupants were wearing their seatbelts which prevented this accident from being much worse.
One of the occupants was transported via ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
We wish everyone who was injured during this accident a full and speedy recovery.

Sadly, the faster a vehicle is moving, the more dangerous it becomes should it crash into another car. Responsible motorists should understand the dangers that speeding creates for all drivers, bicycle riders, and pedestrians on Utah’s roadways.
