St. George, UT (March 28, 2019) – On March 25, 2019, St. George Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident.

The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. Saturday in front of 877 E. St. George Street. According to the probable cause statement received by the St. George Police, a man was struck by a black Ford truck, which was exiting a liquor store at that location. The driver of the truck drove over the curb and hit a pedestrian, who was walking on a nearby sidewalk.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment. Police later arrested 37-year old Trevor Andreasen Royce, who was the driver of the Ford pickup truck.
