St. George, UT – **UPDATE** Man Critically Injured At Worksite Near 3430 East and 2170 South Dies From Injuries

St. George, UT (February 19, 2019) – On Monday, the St. George Fire Department and various other first responders reported to a worksite incident that occurred at 3430 East and 2170 South in Little Valley just after 4:00 p.m. When they arrived at the worksite, they discovered a worker who was a contracted construction crew on the worksite fell into a trench. After coworkers attempted to rescue him, the trench collapsed on top of him, causing him to sustain critical injuries.

On Tuesday, St. George Police officer Tiffany Atkin confirmed that the worker, 20-year-old Britton Wilson, died from his injuries at Dixie Regional Medical Center. Our deepest condolences go out to the Wilson family as they grieve through this very tragic event.
