St George, UT – Woman Injured In Collision At Sunset Blvd And Dixie DrUtah Legal News
St George, UT (July 11, 2019) – Local authorities took a woman to the hospital after she sustained injuries in a collision on Saturday, July 6th. The crash happened at the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Dixie Dr.
Officials from the George Police Department reported that the two vehicles involved were a black Chevrolet Trailblazer and a silver Kia Rio. Both vehicles were found to be extremely damaged, blocking the intersection after the crash.
The driver of the Kia experienced a deep laceration to her head and was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center for medical treatment and evaluation. Officials cited the driver of the trailblazer for failure to yield during a left-hand turn.
The impact caused both vehicles to spin, blocking the intersection until responders were able to remove the wreckage. Both vehicles had to be towed away from the crash site.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
