St. George, Utah – Car and Semi-Truck Involved in Accident along Interstate 15 Near Mile Post 22Utah Legal News
St. George, Utah (February 9, 2019) – The Arizona Department of Transportation recently reported that a motor vehicle accident triggered a shutdown along the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 at Milepost 22, 4 miles from the Cedar Pockets rest area.
Based on the initial ADOT alert, the crash had taken place in the right lane of southbound 15 at approximately 2:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2019. Over its official twitter page, ADOT also confirmed both lanes had been blocked in the vicinity of the Black Mile Exit. All lanes were reopened by 5:15 PM MST.
At this time, no details about the accident have been released by police or additional investigators. However, one passerby submitted a photo revealing a car jammed underneath a semi-truck’s tractor trailer. No information about injuries was specified. AS of now, the investigation continues.
