St. George, Utah – Multi-Vehicle T-Bone Crash Takes Place Along Main Street and Bluff Street

St. George, Utah (February 9, 2019) – Local news sources reported that one passenger required hospitalization following a dangerous T-bone accident that took place along the junction of Main Street and Bluff Streets. Officers confirmed the incident took place after a driver ran a red light.

According to a report from a St. George Police Sergeant, a dark gray Dodge pickup truck was traveling along the south lane of Bluff Street at the same time a red Nissan SUV was traveling eastbound along Blackridge Drive. At the intersection of Main and Bluff, the Nissan sped through the red light and collided with the Dodge, which ultimately spun into a tan GMC.

Reports indicate the Dodge and the Nissan were severely damaged in the accident and were eventually removed by cleanup crews. Despite sustaining damage to its front-end, the GMC was still operational and was driven off the crash site.

As a result of the three-vehicle crash, one female passenger, who had been riding in the front seat of the Nissan, sustained injuries and was sent to Dixie Regional Medical Center for further evaluation. The nature of the others members’ injuries was not fully disclosed.

Sometime later, officers cited the Dodge driver for a failure to stop for a red light.

We extend our most heartfelt prayers and most loving thoughts to the injured parties and wish them swift and efficient recoveries during this difficult time.
