Tooele County, UT (March 9, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, March 7th, police responded to a fatal accident involving a rollover that led to the fatality of one person and injuries to another.
The Utah Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident, which they say occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80, near mile marker 92.
One person in the vehicle, who has not yet been formally identified by police, died at the scene of the accident. Another person was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter.
Police are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the accident. Nobody else was injured.
